Kheer fans like me just need a reason to make it so I cook extra rice to make possibly prepare kheer. Kheer is originally made using uncooked basmati rice which actually adds a pleasant flavor and aroma to the kheer. This kheer can be enhanced even more by adding either saffron strands, dried rose petals, rose water and nuts according to individual’s preference. So next time if you have leftover cooked rice try making kheer and your family will love it.
