Sooji halwa / Suji halwa is an instant, yummy and delicious recipe which can be prepared for any occasion. This halwa requires only handful ingredients in its making and can be prepared in just 10 minutes. Sooji halwa is one of my favorite halwa as it is quick to make and also does not require any food color and is usually served in its natural color. So lets quickly get to the making!
- Sooji – ½ cup
- Water – 1 ¼ cup
- Sugar – ½ cup
- Ghee – 1/3 cup
- Cardamom powder – a pinch
- Cashews – 5
- Saffron strands – few
How to make Instant sooji halwa with step by step recipes
- Heat ghee in a pan add cashews and fry until golden brown. Now add sooji in it and roast for few seconds.
- Now add water to it and mix well. When the sooji mixture starts bubbling add cardamom powder. Mix well and when the sooji looks cooked add sugar and mix well. Put off the flame and serve.
