Egg fry/ Egg masala fry is a very easy and quick to make recipe that can be prepared in no time as it does not involve much of ingredients or cooking process. Yes egg fry is prepared by just tossing boiled eggs in simple masala mixture. Yes that simple it is so it can be served as side dish along with sambar, rasam, biryani or any other main dish. And in coming days the weather will get colder and dishes like this can come very handy as it can be prepared in jiffy. Let this egg fry be a part of your sunday meal. So lets get to the making!

Ingredients

Egg – 2 (boiled)
Garlic – 4
Curry leaves – few
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Salt – to taste
Oil – 1 tsp

Note

* 1 cup = 235 ml

How to make egg fry with step by step images

Slice boiled eggs into halves, slice garlic thin and keep the curry leaves ready.
Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves and chopped garlic. Saute garlic until it turns light brown. When garlic looks sauteed add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Give it a quick stir and add the boiled and halved eggs. Toss the eggs in masala quickly and put off the flame. Serve it with any main dish of your choice!
