Halloween Brownie cookies are chocolaty, fudgy in the center, with chewy edges and delicious in taste. These cookies are eggless and can be made in jiffy. These eggless brownie cookies can be made with handful ingredients available in the pantry. That’s true!!
So I did not get time to make any Halloween treat this year as well, for my family and blog. Also couldn’t think of something fancy/ really interesting as I dint have eggs nor halloween sprinkles at home today. So used homemade applesauce to make it fudgy. Not to worry we always have such simple recipes to glow any occasion.
So whipped up this simple yet delicious chocolate cookies with marshmallow this year. A spider web halloween cookie or with edible goggly eyes you could call it mummy cookies too! Had so much fun making this, as the marshmallows were super sticky to work with, but worth all the taste. So let’s get to the making!
INGREDIENTS TO MAKE EGGLESS BROWNIE COOKIES
All purpose flour– This flour works best, but for healthier version it could be replaced with wheat flour too for a
Cocoa – I used unsweetened cocoa powder, but sweetened cocoa powder works well too.
Butter– Softened unsalted butter at room temperature for a rich cookie and buttery taste.
Brown Sugar– It adds taste and color. Dark, light brown sugar or regular sugar also works.
Chocolate chips– Makes cookies more chocolaty. You could use semi sweet chocolate or dark chocolate.
Applesauce– Gives the cookies fudgy texture. Can be replaced with one egg or yogurt too.
Marshmallow– You could use big or small marshmallow, both works good as it will be used as decoration/ garnish for cookie.
