Egg mayo sandwich/ Mayo egg sandwich is a quick and very easy to make delicious cold sandwich. It is a scrumptious sandwich with egg and mayo filling.

A simple yet tummy filling recipe that can be relished as breakfast, snack, tiffin and is lunch box friendly too. Yes eggs are delicious, easy to cook and are protein packed. Eggs are versatile for making breakfast or meals. This egg mayo combo creates a rich, tasty and creamy flavor. 15 minutes is all you need to make this and voila sandwich will be ready.

This sandwich is a cold version and you could try making it with chicken mayo too. I had posted chicken sandwich like this Chicken Mayo sandwich earlier in the blog.

This recipe can be enhanced with by add mustard sugar powder to the mayo mixture. Also you could add lettuce for some crunchiness and freshness to the sandwich.

Egg mayo sandwich/ Mayo egg sandwich is a quick and very easy to make delicious cold sandwich. It is a scrumptious sandwich with egg mayo filling.

Ingredients to make Egg mayo sandwich

  • 4 nos., Bread slices

  • 2 nos., Eggs (Hard boiled)

  • 4 tablespoon, Mayonnaise

  • 1/4 teaspoon, Pepper powder

  • Salt – to taste

Directions to make mayo EGG sandwich

  • In a bowl mash boiled eggs with a work. To it add mayonnaise, salt and pepper powder. Mix well jeep it aside.
  • Take a bread slice chop off its sides (brown part). Repeat the process for all the bread slices. Keep it aside. Place a bread slice on a plate, spread egg mayonnaise mixture as required may be around 2 tbsp then over it place chopped lettuce (optional) over which place with another fresh bread. Slice it diagonally or vertically and serve it immediately.
