How to make Sweet ragi vermicelli with step by step images

  1. In a bowl add ragi semiya. Add water just to immerse semiya. Allow the semiya to soak in water for 3 minutes. Meanwhile heat water in idli steamer and grease the steaming plate with few drops of oil. After 3 minutes transfer the semiya to greased plate.
  2.  Now place the plate in steamer and steam it for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes take steamed vermicelli out of the steamer and allow it to cool down. When the vermicelli has cooled a bit make sure they do not stick to each other. Gently fluff it with hands or fork. keep it aside. I divided vermicelli into 2 portions to make both sweet and savory version.
  3. Now for the sweet semiya take half of the steamed ragi vermicelli in a bowl, to it add grated coconut, sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well and serve it!
