Pichi potta kozhi varuval, Shredded chicken fry

Pichi potta kozhi varuval/ Shredded chicken fry  is a spicy, delicious and simple stir fry prepared by tossing cooked shredded chicken in spicy onion dry masala. This Tamil Nadu street food style stir fry with simple cooking and ingredients makes an outstanding side dish to go with sambar, rasam, parotta and biryani too.
shredded chicken fry

I always adore this dish because this is a 2 in 1 dish? Confusing? Let me explain!!! The base of this dish is prepared with pressure cooked chicken so I usually take some chicken pieces and the broth to make chicken rasam which goes well with this fry  and also taste amazing so you just need to cook rice. Work simplified right?? Chicken rasam recipe will be in the blog soon instead you can check on these recipes Pepper rasam and Drumstick leaves rasam. For this recipe I used chicken drumsticks as it tastes good but you can use even chicken wings and thighs. Usually pieces with bones work great for this dish.

With the same pressure cooker method I had posted a very yummy and authentic Hyderabadi dish famous for ramadan and the recipe is here HALEEM homestyle. So let’s get to the making!
