Whole wheat cheese pizza, Atta pizza without yeast
This yeast free whole wheat cheese pizza is a soft, delish and healthy pizza prepared with wheat flour/ atta base from scratch at home and baked to perfection. We usually prepare pizza with all purpose flour but I have been wanting to make a healthy version of it using atta for the longest time but always kept postponing. So finally gave it a try that too without the use of yeast and it turned out perfect. The pizza base was extremely soft and fluffy as well to my surprise. I tried making basic cheese pan sized pizza first then if it worked out thought to make regular sized veg topping pizza which I will post in coming months. So do try this quick and easy to make atta pizza and let me know your feedback. So let’s get to the making!
How to make Whole wheat cheese pizza with step by step images
In a wide bowl add wheat flour/ atta, salt, oil, baking powder, baking soda and curd. Mix well to a crumbly mixture. Now add water gradually to form a soft dough. If the dough us sticky more soft pizza base will be the result. Keep the dough covered. Let it rest for an hour to two. Keep it in warm place which will help the dough double in size and create aeration fast.
After 1 to 2 hours you will notice the dough doubled in size. Preheat oven at 350F/ 180 C. Now divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
Place the dough balls on the baking tray and flatten it into small circle using fingers. Now make holes in pizza dough base with fork. Now add sauce and spread it, then add mozzarella cheese.
Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. When done remove from oven and sprinkle chili flakes before serving!
