Semiya rava kichadi, Semiya rava bath recipe

Jump to Recipe

Semiya Rava kichadi/ Semiya rava bath is a rich and delicious kichadi/ bath loaded with veggies. It is prepared with both Semiya and Sooji.

Traditionally this type of kichadi is prepared with either Rava or Semiya. But in the recipe I have used both. Semiya and Rava along with veggies gives this dish thick texture. It actually melts in mouth.

This rava semiya bath is very easy and simple to make Breakfast/ Mini tiffin/ Dinner. It is also healthy start of the day as it is loaded with veggies and taste. I have used mixed veggies like Carrot, Green beans and Green peas in this recipe.. You could use potato as well for taste.

Rava Semiya kichadi is similar to the preparation of regular rava upma/ sooji upma but is more tastier. This recipe can be served with chutney, sambar or even with sugar.

For much tastier version rava semiya bath can be prepared with ghee instead of oil and cashews can used along with dal. So lets get to the making!
