Maida dosa is an instant and easy to make dosa and requires no grinding and no fermentation. This recipe is handy for those days when I feel really lazy and wish to make something quick for my family. A simple maida dosa with spicy tomato chutney makes all the magic In the table! So lets get to the recipe!

Ingredients

  • Maida – 2 cup
  • Rice Flour – 1 Cup
  • Curd – ½ cup
  • Water- 2 cups (approx.)
  • Salt to taste

To temper

  • Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
  • Chopped Green chili – 2
  • Curry leaves a spring
  • Oil – 1 tbsp

How to make Instant maida dosa with step by step images


  1. In a bowl add maida, rice flour, salt and curd. Mix well and add water gradually to form dosa batter. The batter should be like regular dosa batter.
  2. Heat oil in a small pan add cumin seeds, green chili and curry leaves when aromatic remove from flame and add it to the batter. Mix it well.
  3. Now heat a tava pour a ladle batter like regular dosa and drizzle some oil around it. When done flip the dosa to the other side and cook. Now transfer it to a plate and serve it with tomato chutney and sambar.
