  1. In ¼ cup of cold milk add custard powder and mix well without any lumps. Keep this mixture aside.
  2. In a pan add milk and let it boil. When the milk starts to boil add sugar and mix well. Now put the flame to low and add the custard mixture and keep stirring continuously else it will form lumps. Within few minutes the mixture will start to thicken, at that point put off the flame and keep it aside. Let it cool down. Meanwhile, Grind biscuits to powder in a blender and keep it aside.
  3. Now in a wide bowl add ½ cup whipped cream and powdered sugar. Using a hand blender beat the cream until soft peaks form. The frosting should look light and thick in consistency. Now add the frosting to the pastry bag/ piping bag with star nozzle or any nozzle of your choice. Keep it aside.
  4. In a serving glass add 2 tbsp of crumbled biscuits as first layer, then top it with 1/3 cup if custard on it place 2 gulab jamuns crumbled with some jamun syrup.
  5. Finally, add the frosting/ whipped cream layer by making swirls or piping designs on the custard layer. Make sure this layer is dense and covers the wide mouth of the glass so that the others layers remain as a surprise. Finally top the cake single Gulab Jamun and garnish it with chopped pistachios.. Refrigerate it for 10 minutes and relish the trifle.
