creamy spinach pasta

Creamy spinach pasta recipe, Spinach pasta

Creamy spinach pasta/ Spinach pasta as the name goes is a super creamy, rich, flavorful and lip-smacking pasta with the goodness of spinach. This spinach pasta is unbelievably creamy because it consists of cream cheese in its making also used some tomatoes for a little tanginess and it made all the difference.

I ground the tomatoes to fine paste to give smooth texture to the spinach pasta but you use canned tomato paste/ the ready pizza sauce as well for saving some time.  At the most do not compromise on the cream cheese or its substitute heavy cream/ half n half cream as it will impact on the taste and creamy texture.

For this recipe I used Farfalle pasta but you could use any pasta of your choice also could whole wheat ones for more wholesomeness.

SUBSTITUTE FOR CREAM CHEESE
Cream cheese can be substituted with heavy whipping cream to give the same consistency and taste or at the most with whole milk but will not have the creamy texture but still be rich enough.

WHAT SPINACH CAN BE USED ?
For this spinach pasta I have used our regular palak/ spinach as it tastes yummy and easily blends with the recipe.
