Cappuccino/ Indian style cappuccino  is a very popular coffee drink consisting of three basic parts – coffee, milk and milk foam. This frothy drink originating in Italy is a staple one in all the coffee shops and making one at home might sound little difficult until you have the right equipment in hand as the ingredients it deals with is always available at home. You heard that right!! Right equipment is required which makes the making simple.

Recently I received this MILK FROTHER from Zulay Kitchen with which I made this cappuccino it was like dream come true because I never ever have really thought to try a cappuccino at home and with so much perfection. Many of you have not see my pic so thought mention it. Ingredients
  1. 1. Instant coffee powder – 1 tbsp + ¼ tsp (for dusting)
  2. 2. Sugar – 1 tbsp
  3. 3. Hot water – 1 tbsp
  4. 4. Milk – 1 cup
Note
  1. * 1 cup = 235 ml
Instructions
  1. In a mug/ cup add a tbsp of coffee powder, sugar and hot water. Whip it well until forms a creamy mixture. Keep it aside.
  2. Pour milk in a microwavable cup and heat milk in microwave for 2 minutes/ Alternatively boil milk in a pan on stove top. Transfer the milk to a bowl and using a milk frother froth the milk until you see foam. I have used ZULAY MILK FROTHER here and it worked excellent for me.
  3. Now to the creamy coffee mixture add foamed milk, top it with foam and finally dust some coffee powder. Relish it hot.

How to make Cappuccino with step by step images


  1. In a mug/ cup add a tbsp of coffee powder, sugar and hot water. Whip it well using hand blender/ whisk until forms a creamy mixture. I used the frother to make this too and it came out well. Dependin on what you use the timing will vary. Keep it aside.
  2. Pour milk in a microwavable cup and heat milk in microwave for 2 minutes/ Alternatively boil milk in a pan on stove top. Transfer the milk to a bowl and using a milk frother froth the milk until you see foam. I have used ZULAY MILK FROTHER here and it worked excellent for me.
