Set dosa and vada curry is one such yummy and best combo popularly served as breakfast in chennai. Set dosa as the name goes comes in sets of 2 or 3 or sometime even 4 depending on the restaurant and the vada curry is a thick coconut based gravy made with leftover dal vada/ masala vada. But nowadays restaurants make this with freshly made vadas too. So do try this different combo for breakfast and take a break from routine. - I made dosa batter the day before making vada curry so it will be ready fermented and ready to use. I made the vada batter too on the day when I ground the batter.
- I first chopped veggies, while I was cooking the gravy made vada side by side and added it to the gravy. U can make vada even before preparing the gravy or use the vada made the before day too, as it wont make any difference to the recipe. My mom used to reserve few vada from the evening snacks and use it for next day breakfast gravy.
