Iyengar bakery style masala bread, Masala toast recipe

Iyengar bakery masala bread/ Masala toast/ Bangalore bakery masala toast serves to be one of the delicious and outstanding sandwiches sold in the bakeries of Bangalore. Yes this scrumptious open sandwich loaded with onion and carrot acting as key ingredients for the sandwich stuffing is one such easy and quick to make recipe that can be made at home. Though the sandwich can be made at home and taste has a tough of the original sandwich the actual product sold in the bakery is unbeatable. A cup of hot coffee/ chai along with spicy sandwich can blow away dull evenings too. I usually prepare this sandwich when I have lot carrots at home/ when I have lot of bread slices lying around nearing the expiry date, but I think these are just reasons that i give to myself to make this sandwich again and again at home. This sandwich recipe that does not involve much of ingredients is prepared by everyone in different ways but below recipe is the one that I have been making all these years and I feel it really has a touch and taste equivalent to the original one. So if you have lot of carrots lying in the fridge then it needs a simple shredding, sauteeing in some masala and onion then just a little application on a toasted bread will tickle your taste buds. So lets get to the making!
