How to make missi roti with step by step images

- In a bowl add wheat flour, besan, chopped onion, green chilli, ginger, chopped cilantro, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, oil and cumin seeds. Mix well.
- Now add water gradually to form a soft dough. Knead it just like a chapati dough. The dough will be little sticky while kneading which is common. Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes covered.
- Heat a tawa. Dust wheat flour on the rolling surface. After 10 minutes pinch medium sized portion of dough. Flatten it into medium sized circle using a rolling pin just like roti/ chapati.
- Now place the rolled roti dough on preheated tawa, drizzle some oil around it and cook in medium flame. When you see brown spots on one side flip and cook. When done transfer it to a plate and serve it hot with pickle, chutney or plain curd. This roti shall be little hard unlike regular roti so serve it hot!
