Ingredients
- 1. Couscous - 1 cup
- 2. Water - 1 cup
- 3. Salt - ½ tsp
- 4. Oil - ¼ tsp
Note
- * 1 cup = 235 ml
Instructions
- So this rava/ semolina look alike grain is called couscous.
- In a pan add water, few drops of oil and salt. Mix well and allow it to boil. When the water stats to boil add couscous slowly and give it a gentle stir. Switch off the flame and cover the pan with a lid. Keep it aside for 5 minutes and let the magic happen.
- After 5 minutes remove the lid and fluff the cooked couscous. You will notice that the couscous has puffed with separated grains. Serve it hot with chicken curry or gravy of your choice.
