Pasta salad recipe, How to make pasta salad

A very colorful, healthy and easy salad recipe which can be prepared in no time at home from scratch. I have used tricolor pasta for this recipe but you can make it with regular ones as well. You can alter the ingredients according to your choice and serve. So lets get to the making!

To cook pasta

  • Pasta tricolor – 1 cup
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Oil drops

For salad

  • Olives – 3
  • Sausage – 1
  • Onions – ¼ cup
  • Thin carrot slice – 1 tbsp
  • Cherry tomato- 5
  • Mayonnaise – ½ cup


How to make Pasta salad with step by step images


  1. Boil water in a pot add few drops of oil, salt and pasta. Cook till done and drain the excess water and run the pasta over cold water keep it aside. Chop olives and sausage then keep it aside!
  2. In a bowl add boiled tricolor pasta,chopped onions, carrot Julian, olives, sausage,cherry tomato and mayonnaise. Mix everything well and serve it.
