Chocolate puff pastry/ Chocolate puffs (Indian) is a warm, light, flaky and delicious puff pastry with chocolate filling. This baked pastry can be prepared in 5 minutes and also requires just 2 basic ingredients. How simple right?? The weather is super cold or is raining/ snowing almost everywhere, such quick snacks can be handy and set your mood right!! Also this particular puff pastry can be crowd pleaser and a quick one to prepare with almost no work. All you need is a good brand puff pastry sheets (I used KAWAN) and choco chips/ chocolate for the filling. Ingredients
  1. 1. Pastry sheets – 4 nos.
  2. 2. Choco chips – ¼ to ½ cup
  3. 3. Milk – 2 tbsp
  4. 4. Water – 1 tbsp
Note
  1. * 1 cup = 235 ml
Instructions
  1. Firstly take the pastry sheets out of the freezer and keep it at room temperature until it becomes soft.
  2. Preheat oven at 400 F/ 204 C. Now take one pastry sheet place it on the baking tray on it place 1 to 1 ½ tbsp of choco chips in the middle of the pastry. Now fold it and seal the edges with water and press it well. Make the remaining puffs the same way. Now milk wash it using a basting brush. (Dip the brush in milk and apply it over puffs. The process is known as milk wash to yield golden brown exterior)
  3. Now place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake at 400F/ 204 C for 20 minutes or until you see the puffs in golden color with flaky texture. When done remove the baking tray from the oven and serve it hot.
