Cheese balls recipe, How to make cheese balls

Cheese balls is a crispy deep fried snack/ appetizer prepared with boiled potato/aloo, oregano, bell pepper, chilli flakes and cheese as the name goes. This is surely an interesting snack to much on as the balls are made with potato and stuffed with cheese cubes, so as soon you bite in them, the cheese oozes out and will definitely be a real treat for all those cheese lovers.
cheddar cheese balls

This recipe is prepared with Italian seasoning (oregano) so if you like to give these balls an Indian/Desi touch you can try adding some garam masala, cumin / jeera powder, ginger garlic paste and little Kasuri methi. Also for this recipe I have used cheddar cheese but you can try using mozzarella cheese as well. Also you try to incorporate the cheese along with potato/ aloo instead of stuffing it. But the chances of balls breaking is high, to prevent that you can double the cheese balls, first with cornflour then with maida batter and finally bread crumbs for crispiness you can try coating the balls with ground oats/ poha as well. The preparation is more due to the shaping and coating than the cook time but is surely worth the wait. These cheese balls can be served with ketchup or can be relished hot just like that. So let’s get to the making!
