This is how my mom makes thalippu vadagam chutney and I used to eat an extra idli just for the sake of the chutney during my childhood.

This vadagam is also used in the making of kara kuzhambu and sambar also which elevates the taste of the dish.

I have used tempering in this recipe, which can be skipped. this chutney tastes good without tempering too. So if you have vadagam at home now try making this chutney for breakfast as it tastes great along with idli and dosa. So letā€™s get to the making!
