Eggless chocolate mug cake, 2 minute mug cake

Chocolate mug cake is a quick fix for sudden dessert/ sweet cravings. This solo treat is irresistibly delicious and at the same time hassle free, mess free and can be prepared in jiffy. Yesterday I posted basic vanilla mug cake which is also eggless so today is a chocolate eggless mug cake a little fudgy version as I added few chocolate morsels/ chips which is completely optional. For this recipe as well butter can be replaced with oil and sugar quantity can be altered according to taste. Also I have added red, pink and white sprinkles just to suit valentines day which is again optional. So lets get to the making!

Ingredients
  1. 1. All purpose flour – 3 tbsp
  2. 2. Cocoa powder- 2 tbsp
  3. 3. Sugar – 2 tbsp
  4. 4. Baking powder – ½ tsp
  5. 5. Melted butter – 2 tbsp
  6. 6. Vanilla syrup – ¼ tsp
  7. 7. Milk – 4 tbsp
  8. 8. Sprinkles – ½ tsp (optional)
  9. 9. Chocolate chip – 1 tsp (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a bowl add all purpose flour cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder. Mix well.
  2. Now to it add melted butter, vanilla syrup and milk. Whisk everything well until combined without any lumps.
  3. Now grease a mug with few drops of butter. Pour the cake batter in the mug, at this point you can add chocolate chips or skip it.
  4. Microwave for 1 minute 30 sec or up to 2 minutes on high until done. It should be done within 2 minutes so keep an eye on the mug cake. When done remove it from the microwave, insert a toothpick in he middle to check if its done, if the toothpick comes out clean serve it immediately with color sprinkles garnished on top. high until done.

  1. In a bowl add all purpose flour cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder. Mix well.
  2. Now to the flour mixture add melted butter, vanilla syrup and milk. Whisk everything well until combined without any lumps. If the batter is too thick add milk little by little to get cake batter consistency.
  3. Now grease a mug with few drops of butter. Pour the cake batter in the mug, at this point you can add chocolate chips/ shaved chocolate/ chocolate morsels for fudgy texture or skip it.
  4. Microwave the mug with batter for 1 minute 30 sec or up to 2 minutes on high until done. It should be done within 2 minutes so keep an eye on the mug cake. When done remove it from the microwave, insert a toothpick in he middle to check if its done, if the toothpick comes out clean serve it immediately with color sprinkles garnished on top.
